Sorry, we do not offer same day delivery.

Open Hours

Orders are dispatched within 24 hours of receipt Monday to Friday.

If you order is placed after 1 pm NZ Time, it will be dispatched the following business day.

We are closed weekends and New Zealand Public Holidays.

If you place an online order on a weekend or NZ Public Holiday, it will be dispatched the next business day.

We use New Zealand Couriers for all of our deliveries New Zealand wide.

Pick ups

We are an online only business and do not allow pick-ups (our liquor licence also doesn’t allow it).

Delivery Terms & Conditions

Due to the Alcohol Laws in New Zealand, only people over the age of 18 years old may receive alcohol. If no one is home to receive the gift when the courier driver calls the gift will be taken back to the courier depot.  The driver will leave a card which will give instructions on how to arrange re-delivery.

If you have any courier queries relating to gifts that have already left our warehouse please contact New Zealand Couriers with your order tracking details that have been emailed to you.

Specific Delivery Date

You can select a delivery date – on our order form there is an “order notes”  area, please put your delivery date in there.

Please Note:

We will endeavor to dispatch your order with your desired date in mind. However, we cannot 100% guarantee a delivery date as it is a courier company responsible for the delivery not the staff at Wineplus. Please be assured the couriers do their very best, and we will do everything we can to get your gift there on time.

Extreme Weather events may cause delays to delivery days.

Tracking Your Order

The courier ticket number is emailed to you by New Zealand Couriers as soon as the gift has been sent.

Wineplus is proudly 100% NZ owned and operated.

We pack and dispatch your gift within 24 hours of order (dispatch business days only).

We use New Zealand Couriers for all our deliveries around New Zealand. They track all of our parcels and you will get an email upon dispatch with all the tracking information.

We do not send invoices or any paper work with your gift box.

If you do want an invoice, please email us and request one.

Our gifts are beautifully presented.   All our gift boxes are tied with satin ribbon and a gift card with your message is attached.

There are several ways to purchase your gift with Wineplus. You can pick your own wine or select a pre-made gift box.

You can specify a delivery date on the order page – or we will pack and dispatch your gift the day the order is placed (must be before 1 pm). If after 1 pm it will go the next business day.

‘You pick the bottle’ Gift Boxes

We have gift boxes where you get to “pick the bottle”, so you get to choose the wine, spirits, etc from our extensive menu and you get to choose the budget.

You start by selecting the wooden wine box first For example, a 1 Bottle Gift box or a 2 Bottles Gift Box (it goes up to 4 bottles).  Then you select the bottle from the drop down menu.

Pre-Selected Gift Boxes 

These gift boxes are where we have paired wines and come up with some great gift options. These gift boxes are pre-priced. Some of these boxes have nibbles and delicious snacks included and the personalised boxes have ‘fudge logs’ which read either Happy Birthday, Thank You, or Congratulations.

Wineplus offer the unique gift idea of sending cheese & wine gifts.

You can choose the wine to go with our Deluxe Cheese box, or we have made up some great pre-priced cheese boxes, where we have matched the wine with the cheese.

Cheese & Wine gifts are sent on the same day you order (must be before 1 pm) and are delivered within 48 hours.  The cheese travels in a chill container with an ice-pack to keep it fresh. We do not send cheese gifts to rural delivery addresses.
