Security: Your online security is critically important to us
All information that you provide us with is encrypted and transmitted via 256bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Such encryption is industry standard and is designed to protect your personal details.
You will know your details are being protected by:
- Looking for the padlock or unbroken key that will appear at the bottom of your browser when you are providing payment details
- Looking for the addition of an ‘s’ to the http: in the window bar at the top of your browser (making it https:)
In addition, we use Paystation to provide secure processing transactions. Paystation are a certified “Payment Gateway Provider” who process all credit card transactions from our website.
By using a Payment Gateway, all your credit card information goes straight to our bank. None of the Wineplus staff will ever see your credit card details.
Because we never see your credit card details, this means none are ever stored on our Server. As such, you will need to re-enter your credit card details every time you make a purchase from Wineplus. This small inconvenience is well worth it for maximum security.
At Wineplus, we stand behind the products we sell.
We take great care to carefully pack each gift box and we only use reputable couriers. If a gift box arrives in a damaged condition, we will gladly refund your money, or replace it. The choice is yours. We will require you to advise us of any problems within 48 hours of receipt of the gift box. A photo of the damaged product will need to be sent to us via our email address at firstname.lastname@example.org
All sales are made under full compliance with the laws of New Zealand, including:
Fair Trading Act
Sale of Goods Act
Consumer Guarantees Act
In the event of a product not being available we will replace it with another of similar or greater value.
Refunds and Cancellations
It is very difficult to retrieve a gift box once it has been dispatched from our premises. As a result, we are unable to allow cancellations, and therefore refunds, once a gift box has been dispatched.
We are however, able to cancel an order and provide a refund if the gift box has not yet been dispatched.
Once your payment has been processed successfully you will receive a receipt from us via email. All prices are stated and charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). The name that will appear on your credit card statement will be Wine Plus Gifts Ltd.
Sale of Liquor
To comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, Wine Plus Gifts Limited has a license to sell liquor, granted by the Selwyn District Council. Our licence number is 59/OFF/075/2018 and expires on 08 APRIL 2020. See License details here:
Customers must be 18 or over and not be intoxicated to make purchases on this site. It is illegal to purchase alcohol when under the age of 18 and it is also illegal to make a false declaration of age in order to purchase liquor. The recipient of our gift boxes must be aged 18 and over.
No liquor will be sold or delivered on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day or before 1pm on Anzac Day.
